My recent visit to The Three Acres was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We started at the oyster bar before sitting in the main restaurant the oysters were lovely and plump and very tasty. We we're then told our table was ready and taken to main restaurant. Every dish was good and very tasty not the fastest of service but sometimes not a bad thing. Over all we really enjoyed our experience at the three acres even though I had seen quite a few poor reviews that didn't put us off and would definitely go again.

Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast in a stunning location. Rooms - perfect, couldn't be faulted. Dinner - Decent without being special, menu needs a little more thought for the prices being charged. Breakfast - Included in room price but surprised to find that although given a expansive menu the choice for residents was restricted to Acres Veggie Breakfast or Acres Breakfast, and even more surprised to be told if I wanted a sausage on it then I need to add as an extra.. very bizarre. Come on 3 Acres.. Open up the full breakfast menu to residents paying > £180 a night..!!

£23 for two course lunchtime menu is OK if a bit restricted. A la carte seems quite expensive rising to over £30 for a main course potentially making two courses over £40. Wines for every pocket from around £30. Food quality (£23 menu) was OK but not noteworthy. Service is good and the staff are very pleasant.
